Tara Taylor

Tara Taylor weighed well over 600 pounds when we met her on the episode. She had little social life at the time and was suffering from significant joint pain and respiratory difficulties. We then discovered that she had gained 278 pounds. Aside from that, she stated that she was now ready to put herself out there. She fell in love with Eugene Perkins, whom she married. Regrettably, she also claimed that he had cheated on her. We’re just relieved that she’s now a self-assured lady who can walk away from anyone who doesn’t respect her. “I hope you find what you’re searching for, Mr. Perkins!!!” she said on social media.

James Jones

James Jones was the show’s heaviest competitor during the second season. He weighed 750 pounds at the time. After his sister and father died from obesity, he determined to make a lifestyle change. He underwent gastric bypass surgery after losing 53 pounds in just two weeks. He continued to work hard at the gym and had skin removal surgery. He currently weighs 239 pounds. This equates to a total weight loss of 511 pounds. Despite his assertion that he is “not into all the limelight,” he did state that he “went on the program to inspire people,” and we are sure he is delighted that he was able to do so.
