Are you a parent who has signed up your baby for a photo shoot? If so, it simply means that you want to capture them in this stage of their life while you still could. However, you might want to start thinking about getting a pro to do it for you. Why? DIY projects do not always give the same results… Read on and judge for yourself!
Being Wrapped Like This Wouldn’t Make Us Happy Either
We are sure that the photographers for the first picture spent a long time to get the perfect shot. You would not be able to accomplish this if you are in a rush. For one thing, the baby should be in a good mood… That is definitely not what was going on in the second photo!
Get Me Outta Here!
You should not forget that pro photographers make a living out of shooting babies. They know what works and what doesn’t. The baby in the first picture must have fallen asleep from the get-go. On the other hand, it seems like the second baby was not quite as relaxed.
This Photo Shoot Was Ruined By Bad Aim
The photoshoot was nearly there! The operative here is, of course, nearly. We do not know how many tries they gave in order to get the second photo, although we are sure that you will never get it right on the first time. Nonetheless, it’s a good photo on its own because it is more realistic.
To Be Fair, The Original Girl Is Much Older
For one thing, the first girl is older than the second one. We know that bigger kids tend to behave more than little ones! If you ask us, there is nothing wrong with the second one. We love the pigtails and the face the girl on the right is making!
A Pumpkin Is No Place For A Baby
Did the parents even think about how cold and slimy it is to sit inside a pumpkin? We would be freaking out as well. What makes it worse for the second kid is that his legs do not fit inside the holes perfectly. On that note, the background is also a little too dark.
Doesn’t Really Make The Baby Any Less Adorable
If this kid was going to achieve the Frosty the Snowman look, he would have to fix that nose and get a top hat. It’s not all that bad, all things considered. At the very least, the kid was not freaking out like some of the others you’ll find on the list!
Help! The Lights Are Coiling Themselves Around Me!
Parents, we think we should all stop using fairy lights this way when it comes to baby photoshoots. This is a recipe for disaster! We kind of understand where the second was coming from when he made the look that just screams, “One day, I will settle the score and it won’t be pretty.”
Who Came Up With Idea Of Putting Babies Inside Fruits And Vegetables?
Watermelon is probably the best summer treat you can indulge in. However, we don’t think that makes it a good place to plop your babies in. The kid on the right was not happy at all with what was happening.
WARNING: Keep Glass Balls Away From Children
Everyone, please keep in mind that no photo is worth risking the safety of your baby! Why would you put your kid in danger by surrounding them with glass balls like this one? It could shatter at any moment! Anyway, the photographer in the second photo failed to replicate a number of things, like the angle and pose. There’s always a next time.
Oh No! There’s Something In My Eye
A baby playing with colorful cupcake sounds awesome until it gets messy and someone has frosting in their eyes. Do you want a valuable piece of advice? Maybe next time amateur photographs should stick to simple concepts!
Didn’t I Tell You No Flowers?!
Babies are bundles of joy, but you cannot expect them to fully cooperate when you are taking photos. The kid on the left seems happy with the accessory she has on, but the second baby did not like hers.
It’s Called A Choking Hazard
First of all, these things are choking hazard. Second, they are probably not very comfortable to lie on top of. Luck must have been on the side of the first photographer! Unfortunately for the second one, freaking is a perfectly acceptable reaction here. Who can blame the baby for acting that way?
Mom, Please Act Like A Grownup And Put On The Sock Correctly
We need everyone to understand that socks are meant for feet, not the entire body! Although it does not look all that comfortable, the second baby did not look too mad about what was going on.
I Told You I Can’t Read!
It does not get much simpler than this. Just put some glasses on a baby and pray that they fall asleep on books. However, baby photoshoots will always be complicated. We doubt the second one will grow up to be a bookworm!
Is This Photo Shoot Or A Trust Exercise?
The first photo has a good concept, but it only works when working with a newborn kid. As you can see, the second baby is much older and bigger than the first one. Maybe she was scared of being dropped, which is perfectly understandable.
Is This Joyful Enough For You?
Well, you do not have to be a genius to figure out which photo was a disaster. There is no explanation for the first picture, although maybe there was some magic involved. What makes the second one so funny is that the kids are holding up “JOY” when they are showing none of it.
I Give Up
Newborns in adorable outfits are yet another popular gimmick. Just put them on a soft rug and voila! As easy as it sounds, it is pretty hard to accomplish. If you are lucky, you get the top one. If not, the second one is more realistic…
Didn’t Know Storks Deliver In Boxes
Can you guess what just came in the mail? Your own bundle of joy! What we have learned is the importance of execution. Your idea might be awesome, but you might end up with the second photo if you do not do it right…
I Don’t Want To Be A Stocking Stuffer!
This photoshoot is perfect for the holiday season. The baby in the first photo had props that went well with his size. Sadly, the second baby did not get quite as lucky. Parents, invest in better props next time!
The Rose Among The Thorns
If you happen to have many boys and a single girl, this would be an awesome idea. This is a great way to let everyone, especially interested suitors, know that they can’t mess with her! While we are sure the boys in the second picture will always have their baby sister’s back, it didn’t look that way here…
WE Don’t Want To Make Snow Angels!
Snow angels are great when winter rolls in! However, make sure to give them extra protection if you are going to make a photo shoot out of it. It seems like the parents of the second one completely forgot all about this aspect.
Where’s My Morning Cup?!
Perspective is important here. They succeeded at getting the baby-in-a-mug effect, although there is a clear difference. The second baby seems to be much grouchier than the first baby! At any rate, it’s a hilarious photo, so it is not exactly a fail.
Is It Too Much To Ask For Cake?!
This is a feminine take to a first birthday that will make for a fun photo. The girl on the left seems to know just what to do. Meanwhile, the second girl did not. She probably just wanted to eat some cake!
It Pays To Keep Your Mouth Shut
It does not get more classic than photos of parents with their kids lying on top of them. This mom and baby duo got it right, although they decided to get extra photos to be on the safe side. The mother had no idea what was in store for her…
Someone Hasn’t Taken Their Chill Pill
Not every single baby out there can rock a button-up and a bowtie, you know. The kid on the left looks thrilled, but the one on the right looks more like a real-life Boss Baby. That said, they are both adorable photos – just in very different ways!
I’m SOOOO Sleepy!
If you want to do this photo right, you will need to ensure the little angel is asleep with their head cradled in their hands. It sounds simple enough, but you need a lot of good luck to get it right. At any rate, the second one did make us smile at the very least.
Babies And Electrical Wiring Are Not Always A Great Combo
One of these babies is freaking out about the Christmas lights, and we think the tiny tot is right to feel that way! Folks, we all love awesome photos of our kids but prioritize safety above all else!
Who Said I Wanted Kisses?!?
When you kiss a baby a lot, they will either giggle or scream. Of course, one of these is much more preferable to the other. The first one liked kisses, but the second kid did not…
Isn’t It Too Much To Expect Kids To Pull Off This Balancing Act?
At this point, we bet you can tell how hard it is to take good photos of kids. If you go with a difficult concept, you are making things even more difficult! The first one shows great symmetry, but the right one doesn’t…
Looks Simple Enough
When you see the first photo, you might be under the impression that it was easy to shoot. Do you think that all it takes would be a blanket and a smiling baby? Well, the second photo will prove you wrong!
The Stars And Stripes Forever
These babies were the children of patriotic couples, which is how they ended up in this position. The little kids are wearing sunglasses here for some reason, but it is still pretty darn adorable. We just wished the second kid looked a little happier!
Oops! Didn’t Really See That Coming
Babies often have a tough time controlling their orifices. The face the baby is making is all the proof you need. The mom tried her best to keep her husband safe, but she could not help but find the whole thing funny.
New Baby Not Welcome
There are two firstborn children out there. Some want a younger sister or brother, while there are those who are content with being the only kid in the family. You can probably guess which one is which!
Carrot Gone Rogue
There are lots of parents that like to doll up the kids for the holidays. It means plenty of possibilities, but many people like to use carrots for Easter. The first one turned out fine, but we cannot say the same thing for the second photo…
An Uncomfortable Sailor
Parents also get very excited about sailor costumes for some reason. We don’t why but it is perfectly fine if the baby does not mind! The baby on the right does not seem very comfortable whatsoever.
A Few Kisses
What could possibly be cuter than this concept? We all love kisses, both the real thing and the chocolate. The baby on the left got it just right, but the second one ended up bawling. Oops. Better luck next time, parents.
What?! Why Did They Do That?
Babies cannot read just yet, but it is still adorable to see photos of babies pretending they could. The kid on the left seems to be enjoying his comic book. Meanwhile, the second baby looks shocked by what he just read!
Can Someone Give This Baby Some Holiday Cheer?
We all know that relatives like to take so many pictures during holiday gatherings. However, the baby on the right seems to be out of holiday cheer. The first one is a lot more graceful about the whole thing.
If You Didn’t Get Dirty, You Wouldn’t Need A Bath
When we talk about baby photos, one of the easiest ones would be to wrap your baby in a blanket after a bath. However, there are still challenges involved here. They look adorable, but the second phone looks a little under the weather…
The Little Ballerina
Lots of moms like to dress up their babies in ballet costumes. In all honesty, however, neither of these photos should count as a fail because they are both cute in their own special way. How adorable!
A Breakfast Bowl Of Goodness
New parents also seem to like placing their babies in containers and then taking photos of them. Here, they decided to fill a glass bowl with cereal before putting the kids in. It’s an interesting concept, but the second baby did not feel the same way!
Is That Supposed To Be Santa?!
There is something so adorable about babies wearing hats! It does not matter what kind they wear, it will always be adorable. However, we would prefer if we can still see their eyes like in the first photo.
We all know that little kids love to try on the clothes of their parents. However, are you ready to see babies in high heels? We don’t know how they can do this when we can barely stand up straight in shoes like those!
Another Stocking Stuffer
Why are some parents so fond of turning their babies into stocking stuffer? It always looks like the babies are resting in tiny sleeping bags, although some probably think it is closer to a prison…
A Pumpkin Of Tears
Have another baby put inside a pumpkin prison. Parents probably think this is a hilarious concept, although we doubt they would like to be in the same position. Maybe it’s time to stop putting kids in food products.
We like to see parents smooching their babies because it is a sure way to show how much they love their kids. However, it does not always end up like the left photo. Sometimes, you get something closer to the second one!
Not In A Festive Mood
Here is one more photo of babies and Christmas lights. It is not a safe idea, so we don’t know why so many people insist on doing it. At any rate, it might be fine if you at least pull the plug out…
A Different Style
A lot of moms are into arts and crafts, often going on Pinterest to look for ideas. While it sounds lovely to make something for your kid, it might be a good idea to work really hard on it. The second kid does not seem to be too happy with her tutu.
Who Said Eggs And Babies Are A Good Match?
Although the first baby does not seem to mind lying on their Easter egg winnings, the second one looks rather overwhelmed. To be fair, they were put in a pretty crowded basket! It doesn’t look comfy at all.
The Easter Bunny That Everyone Is Looking For
The concept for this is to put bunny ears on the baby and wait for them to fall asleep. The first baby definitely fits the bill. However, the second one was just way too eager to look for Easter eggs!
What Did I Tell You About Ridiculous Baskets?!
Do you think that all you need would be a baby, a blanket, and a basket? You’re not wrong… but it is tougher than it sounds. The kid on the right seems angry about what was happening, but they sure look cute!
Part Of The Process
Professional photographers are used to seeing pee and poop. It is simply a part of the job by now. The mom managed to keep her face safe from harm… However, we cannot say the same thing for her face.
What The Fear Of Balloons Looks Like
Globophobia is what they call the fear of balloons. We are worried that the second baby has this condition! If we were his mom and dad, we would seriously consider hiring a professional photographer from that moment on.
Homemade Swing Fail
What could be cuter than a swing that makes your baby look like he is wearing pants for adults! This kid, however, is just confused about what was happening. His parents need to step it up next time.
Tiny Baby Bed Fail
Do you know what a bed for a newborn looks like? Well, now you do. These photos only have the crochet blanket in common. The second one could have done better when it comes to copying the first.
At Least She’s Just As Happy
Even though the parents of the little girl failed to get it exactly the same, we still adore the outcome! She is not upset about the cake on her hands and face. In fact, she seems rather happy about it!
Little Crochet Bunny Gone Wrong
The concept here was to put the newborn in a bunny outfit that grandma crocheted herself. The outfit was great, but we just wish the parents did a better when it comes to executing the pose or background!
Why Are These Cold Plastic Eggs Touching Me??
Time and time again, parents put babies in a basket of cold Easter eggs. We don’t understand it and neither does this cute baby. He was probably wondering if his parents have lost it! What do you think?
Is It Snack Time Already?
Babies have no problems putting anything in their mouths. And we mean anything – food product or not! These two decided to pop the props into their mouths during the photo shoot. Let’s hope the parents addressed this problem right away.
Get Me Out Of Here, Mom!
It seems like this baby was begging to be taken off the cold floor and wrapped in a warm fuzzy blanket. Are they trying to electrocute her? Clearly, it is time for a diaper and some food.
Duck Face And That’s It
If you want to copy a professional photo, you have to put in the effort to get the outfit, props, and background right. Unfortunately, the parents of the second kid only got the duck face right and nothing else.
Get Me Out Of This Box Immediately!
If you celebrate Christmas, you probably enjoy this time of the year. This tiny Santa Claus probably got spoiled after he dressed up as a bearded guy and was placed in a gift box. He’s definitely on the nice list.
I Didn’t Want To Be An Elf This Year!
It was the year his parents agreed to make him Santa Claus or a reindeer instead of the elf. He tried to remain calm about it but could no longer keep it in after he was given the prop!
Real Dog Vs. Fake Snowman
We all love getting a surprise kiss from our pups under the tree, but it is not quite the same when we are surprised by Frosty the Snowman. This little fella looks like he just saw a ghost!
It only took 20 minutes before the kids stacked up on top of each other. It is too bad that no one listened to dad when he told them not to feed the baby before they were done taking photos!
At Least Dad And His Oldest Daughter Look Happy
The dad in the first photo makes it look easy to carry 4 babies. The second guy wanted to try it out as well. However, he did not consider just how much older and heavier his kids are. Oops.
Santa, Do NOT Touch Me!
The first Santa looks like he was scared to hold the newborn, but it is the opposite for the second photo. It must have been Santa’s first time to hold a baby, but you could say the same thing for poor Jane.
Missing The Headband And The Smile!
Vegetables are meant to be eaten, not played with! This little kid is a wise one, clearly. They hated being nude and having something crawl up their legs. In all honesty, we would hate it too.
I Wanna Be Like Mommy
The one on the left is pretty popular on Pinterest, and it’s no wonder people want to recreate it so much. The kid in the right did not know it was supposed to be serious! This is why she started goofing around, but it is still a lovable picture at any rate!
A Truck Too Tiny
Don’t worry, this would make for a good photoshoot idea even if you have a little girl. The most important thing here is to get the kid to curl up on the truck. Make sure they fit because they might fall off, feel uncomfortable, and have a breakdown.
