Austin was a long way from where everyone was looking. He didn’t hear the helicopters overhead and wasn’t near the river, where boats were fishing for his body (which they would not locate). K9 dog units were scurrying into the woods, hoping to find him.

They had no idea where Austin was, and he had no idea where they were. That is until he heard helicopter rotors overhead one day. He couldn’t see through the woods but was relieved that others were still looking for him. He realized he needed to find a means to let them know where he was.
