It seems to be a common phenomenon for celebrities in Hollywood to be other celebrities’ godparents. In fact, there are a lot more of them than you might have initially realized! Their son, Brooklyn, now has an incredibly famous godfather: Elton John. Yes, the Oscar-winning musician is close with the Beckhams and have been friends for a long time now. In fact, Brooklyn had spent some quality time with his godfather on a yacht vacation in 2019.

Cara Delevingne and Joan Collins

Seeing as Cara Delevigne has no less than 16 godparents and comes from a blue-blooded English family, it only makes sense that one of them is famous. “At Cara’s christening 23 years ago, she had 16 godparents of which I was one,” Joan said. “And I asked—her parents are really good friends of mine, Pandora [Delevingne] and Charles [Hamar Delevingne]—and I said, ‘Why do you have so many godparents?’ And they said, ‘In case any of them die.'” Speaking about her childhood, Joan continued, “Cara was an amazing child,” she said. “Her favorite expression was ‘mine.’”
