Crushes are an essential part of our growth as children. Your crushes are an important stepping stone into your future, from teasing and snickering at school to the inspiration that watching them grow can bring. Going back in time to revisit our childhood isn’t always a good idea, but time has been kind to us with these key girl crushes that so many of us shared- so let’s get started!
Alexa Vega
Alexa is best known for playing the sassy lead in Spy Kids, and many of us were smitten not only by her stunning looks but also by her sassy attitude. She was even rumored to be performing her own stunts for the movie!
Time was kind to Alexa, as you can see. She’s grown into a stunning woman, and she’s just given birth to her third child. We’re not sure how we feel about the name ‘Rio Rey PenaVega,’ but that’s how celebrity names go. Do you want to meet Alexa from the year 2020? LexLovesUs is a YouTube channel that she and her husband have created together.
Robyn Lively
Many of us had our first real crushes on Robyn, even if we were fans of her sister, Blake. Unlike many other child actors, she was able to make a successful transition to film, winning an Emmy at the tender age of 19.
On September 25, 1999, Lively married fellow actor Bart Johnson. She has three children, like Alexa Vega, and is a regular drop-in star for many series, though she is not currently anchoring anything. The family owns a home in Hollywood Hills.
Hayden Panettiere
Hayden has been acting since she was a baby, starring in commercials before moving on to TV and film. She is best known for her charming smile and blonde curls. Her big break came with the classic horror film Scream.
Hayden has progressed beyond the realm of entertainment. She still does voice work for PC games, including the iconic Kingdom Hearts series, but she’s also involved in helping people who are victims of domestic abuse.
Emma Watson
Isn’t Hermione Granger’s face easily recognizable? She went on to have another high-profile role in The Perks of Being a Wallflower, cementing her reputation as one of the most well-known British actresses working today.
Emma uses her considerable pulling power to support a wide range of good causes, including addressing women’s rights issues through a variety of vehicles and causes. She’s also on almost every year’s list of the highest-paid women in the world.
Madeline Zima
Madeline enchanted us all as the sweet and adorable Gracie in The Nanny, and as an older teen, she also got to play an anchor role on the cult classic Californication.
Her early celebrity hasn’t stopped her from achieving her goals. While her most recent film, Insight, was a flop, she has a successful career in Heroes and a net worth of over $1.5 million, so we doubt she’s concerned.
Anna Chlumsky
Anna wowed us all as a young actress in the early 1990s, starring in My Girl and its sequel. Along with her mother, she has also modeled for a number of advertising campaigns.
She’s now married with two children, but that doesn’t stop her. If she was your favorite girl crush, keep an eye out for her return, as she has a number of dramatic projects in the works.
Diane Franklin
Although her first film role was in The Last American Virgin, and she had previously appeared in a number of commercials, you’re probably most familiar with her from the horror film Amityville 2.
With a lead role in the 2018 Amityville series, she’s added to her celebrity. She’s also a mother of two, with a daughter and a son, and she’s taken on a few comedic roles.
Tami Stronach
As the iconic Childlike Empress in A NeverEnding Story, Tami captured our hearts and imaginations. She’s managed to maintain a successful if understated, a career in dance and film since then.
She’s now 49 years old, the proud mother of a 3-year-old child, and she’s making a comeback in the movies. As of mid-2020, Stronach was officially married to Greg Steinbruner.
Christine Taylor
The Brady Bunch was a part of our childhood that we’ll never forget for those of us of a certain age. Christine’s portrayal of Marcia Brady would be the highlight of her acting career.
She has, however, been keeping busy with roles on Arrested Development and the Disney classic Hannah Montana. She is as of now featured on Search Party on a regular basis.
Alyssa Milano
At the tender age of 7, Alyssa began capturing hearts. Samantha Micelli was her most well-known role on Who’s the Boss. She would then go on to star in Charmed as one of the main characters.
She still has a high profile today, but not because of her acting abilities. She’s become a figurehead for the #MeToo movement, as well as a spokesperson for UNICAF and PETA. She’s also a caring mother of two children.
Christina Applegate
Christina Applegate was a girl crush for many people because of her role as the saucy Kelly Bundy on Married with Children. She even got a cameo appearance on Friends.
She’s far from resting on her laurels, with an Emmy under her belt and production credits for Dead to Me earning her another Emmy and Golden Globe nomination. Her charity, Right Action for Women, also assists women with breast cancer.
Kirsten Dunst
Her role in Interview with a Vampire catapulted her into the public eye, and she went on to play a number of key roles in the 1990s, capturing the hearts of young audiences. You couldn’t turn around without seeing her in everything from Little Women and Jumanji to Wimbledon and Spiderman.
Kirsten is still very active, despite the fact that some of her recent roles have been delayed due to the global pandemic. She has two beloved children and wedding plans on the horizon.
Gillian Anderson
Gillian may have earned the title of cougar, but she’s still as stunning as she was before. Dana Scully, the skeptic in The X Files, was obviously her anchor role.
She has always been a global heartthrob, perhaps best known for her stunning eyes and fiery red hair. Her most recent role is as a hilarious therapist on Sex Education, but she keeps herself occupied.
Michelle Trachtenberg
Michelle is best known for her role as Buffy’s younger sister, Dawn Summers, in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but she has had a diverse career both before and after the show.
Despite her phenomenal success after Eurotrip, she took a break from acting to focus on writing, and she now avoids the spotlight in Hollywood. Trachtenberg played Anna, a high school guidance counselor, in the online series Guidance in late 2015.
Elizabeth Shue
Elizabeth, the original Karate Kid’s heartthrob, would go on to star in the Back to the Future franchise as an actress. However, despite these early successes, her career never really took off.
She is, however, the happy wife of David Guggenheim and has recently achieved success as a guest star in the modern Karate Kid franchise as well as the star of her own superhero series, The Boys.
Christine Lakin
Even though Step by Step was her breakout role, there was a time when you couldn’t avoid seeing her. She went on to appear in a number of well-known Hollywood films.
She is now probably most famous as one of the voice actors on Family Guy and is a wonderful mother to her two children as well as a loving wife.
Kelly Lebrock
Kelly began her illustrious career as a model, and by the age of 16, she had already landed campaigns for Christine Dior. She made a name for herself as the “ideal woman” for a number of Hollywood projects.
She has, however, moved on to trying to apply that perfection in the real world. She is a dedicated mother of three who now devotes her time to helping children with cancer. She concentrated on philanthropic work after the death of her brother in 2008.
Danica McKeller
Danica is far more than just a pretty face. While we’re all familiar with her as Winnie Cooper from The Wonder Years, she has a variety of other skills. She is an advocate for education and has written numerous math-related books to encourage young women to pursue careers in the field.
She’s also had articles published in academic journals. She’s also Judy Jetson’s voice in the later cartoons! She hasn’t completely retired from acting, and she can currently be seen in the Netflix Original Project Mc2.
The Spice Girls (all of them!)
The Spice Girls are inextricably linked with the 1990s. They became true icons, and their catchy songs are still evocative of the time period. Regardless, they split up in the 2000s, and we haven’t seen much from them in the decades since.
They have, however, reunited in recent years and even won a 2019 Billboard Live Award. They also set a new record for the most-attended concerts in the last 20 years.
Jennie Garth
Kelly Taylor from Beverly Hills 90210 is calling! Throughout the 1990s, she was a prominent lead, and you couldn’t turn the page of a magazine or watch a TV show without hearing about her.
Unfortunately, she has a congenital heart defect that requires her to remain out of the spotlight. While she continues to live a normal life, she does occasionally appear as a guest on television shows, but she prefers to stay out of the spotlight.
Drew Barrymore
Drew Barrymore is the child star who drew attention to the Hollywood phenomenon in many ways. Everyone was smitten by her. She had no choice but to take on acting roles as a young girl because she was born to famous parents, and this caused her a lot of problems as she went through puberty.
However, you’d never guess it today. The E.T. star is thriving with a new talk show that is bringing her new fans. Barrymore announced her indefinite acting hiatus on March 11, 2021.
Marley Shelton
This Pleasantville and Never Been Kissed star wars were once the iconic face of teen America. She’s still working hard in Hollywood, and she appears to be doing well. Her current big project is the fifth Scream movie, and she’s doing well.
She’s now married to producer Beau Flynn, with whom she’s been in a long-term relationship for over two decades! Isn’t it amazing how quickly time passes? The film was praised by critics for honoring Craven’s legacy and offering thoughtful meta-commentary on horror films when it was released in January, with some calling it the best of the Scream sequels.
Sarah Michelle Geller
Were you even real if you didn’t have a crush on Buffy the Vampire Slayer when you were a kid in the 1990s? She’s stepped back from the spotlight in recent years, despite a few minor roles, most notably as Daphne in Scooby-Doo alongside husband Freddy Prinz Jr.
She’s now married and enjoys her role as a mother, but she still manages to squeeze in a few acting gigs here and there. On March 31, 2021, it was announced that Gellar had been cast in Amazon Studios’ comedy pilot Hot Pink.
Jami Gertz
This Endless Love star may have achieved fame early in her career, but that didn’t stop her from continuing her studies in drama at NYU. She’s best known for her roles in The Neighbors and other popular American sitcoms.
Even though she has a low-key career, she is also a co-owner of the Atlanta Hawks with her husband, and she continues to act. The Melanoma Research Alliance, the largest nonprofit funder of melanoma research, has Gertz on its board of directors.
Claire Danes
Despite the fact that My Sweet Life was canceled early on, it became a cult classic and featured Claire Dane in one of her first roles. Regardless, this is a childhood sweetheart who is most well-known for her adult roles.
Claire would become a household name thanks to Homeland, and it’ll be difficult to top that role. She is a Hollywood influencer to watch, with Emmys and Golden Globes to her credit.
Britney Spears
Although Britney may still be known as the “Princess of Pop,” she has the most difficult story of anyone on our list. Her music was iconic in the 1990s and early 2000s, but she was forced to end her glittering career due to paparazzi harassment and mental health issues.
Amidst her continued musical presence in recent years, much has been revealed about her conservatorship, including abuses by her father and management team. She is now best known for the #FreeBritney campaign, which aims to restore her legal right to personhood.
Jennifer Grey
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off was probably your childhood bible if you were of a certain age. Jennifer Grey went on to star in Dirty Dancing, for which she won a Golden Globe.
Since then, she hasn’t slowed down. She continues to be a beloved icon, with more starring roles and solid voice work for a variety of animated favorites (including Duck Duck Goose and Phineas and Ferb). She’s doing well despite a recent cancer scare.
Christina Ricci
Wednesday Adams was such a ground-breaking role that it is remembered to this day. It was so iconic for Christina that she struggled for years to make the transition from family and children’s films to a more serious acting career.
Despite this, she has a successful acting career and has even done voice work for video games. While her outstanding performance as a bipolar woman in Distorted has garnered the most critical acclaim, she also serves as a dedicated spokesperson for RAINN.
Lea Thompson
Lea gave a strong performance as the mother in the first Back to the Future film, but her career never took off. She does, however, have a great singing voice and has even performed on the soundtracks of some of her films.
Maybe it’s because of her lack of on-screen recognition that she moved to Broadway, where she’s had a lot of success. She’s a married mother of two daughters who occasionally appears on a variety of reality shows as a guest star.
Soleil Moon Frye
Punky Brewster was a favorite of many. Unfortunately, Soleil Moon Frye’s performance was well-received. With a regular role on Sabrina, The Teenage Witch, she would solidify her presence. She’s now completely out of the spotlight in Hollywood.
Instead, she owns and operates a children’s boutique that promotes green living. She’s also a well-known author, with books that focus on kid-friendly explorations of serious social issues. She has a quirky side business selling party kits through P.S XO, a company she co-founded.
Kristy Swanson
Kristy was another well-known figure in the 1990s, and there was hardly a movie poster that didn’t feature her. She was even in the first Buffy film! While she faded as the era progressed, she had amassed a devoted cult following who adored her, and many praised her comedic chops in Hot Shot!
She’s nearly 60 years of age and still working on her latest project, Just Another Dream. She decided to marry 12 years ago and the couple has a child together.
Melissa Joan Hart
Melissa was best known for her role as Sabrina in Sabrina, The Teenage Witch, but she had been acting for years before that, mostly in commercials. She was also a long-time Nickelodeon star.
She now co-directs Melissa and Joey with her husband and runs the King of Harts fashion line with him. She decided to join Johnson’s campaign as Connecticut chairperson on August 28, 2016.
Jennifer Connelly
Another hardworking actress who began her career in commercials and modeling. Following her breakout performance in Once Upon A Time In America, she had a brief cameo as Bruce Banner’s girlfriend in the first few Marvel Universe films.
Even though she is currently focusing on her role as Paul Bettany’s wife and mother to their three children, she is still best known as a model. She’s worked for Revlon and Louis Vuitton, and for a time, she was the face of Balenciaga.
Kiera Knightly
In the early 2000s, Kiera was a face you couldn’t avoid, and she seemed to be everywhere. She’s been praised for a diverse range of roles, from a minor role in Episode 1 of the Star Wars franchise to the lead actress in Pirates of the Caribbean.
Although the media frenzy has subsided, her career is far from over. She is currently working on a number of new projects. She’s also a committed philanthropist who gives her time and money to a variety of causes, the most recent of which is the global pandemic.
Tiffani Thiessen
Kelly from Saved By The Bell would eventually win our hearts as an ex-beauty queen. With the now-forgotten film Son in Law, she attempted to transition into a full-fledged film career.
She’s also reprised her role as Kelly in the Saved By The Bell reboot and can now be seen most frequently as an MTV host, despite the fact that that move was a flop.
Lark Voorhies
For most teenagers growing up in the 1990s, ‘Saved By The Bell’ was a cult classic, and how could we forget Lisa Turtle, one of the main characters? Lark Voorhies continued to dabble in acting after the show ended, but she decided to focus on herself after it was revealed that she was suffering from lupus.
Even after being away from the public eye due to other health issues, the actress was widely speculated to suffer from bipolar disorder. Even so, she continues to deny it.
Elizabeth Berkley
Lark Voorhies is well-known, but have you heard of her co-star on ‘Saved By The Bell,’ Elizabeth Berkley? This stunning actress also starred in the critically acclaimed film ‘Showgirls,’ which nearly everyone saw.
She’s more than just an actress, though: she’s also competed on ‘Dancing With The Stars’! Following her acting career, she decided to write and publish ‘Ask-Elizabeth,’ a book for teenage girls that should be a fun read.
Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen
Mary Kate and Ashley, the iconic twins of the 20th century, took the world by storm. Following their appearance on ‘Full House,’ their career took off, with several well-known films released in quick succession, but they eventually faded into the background.
They have shifted their focus to fashion and started up their own label. They’re frequently seen at various fashion shows and events, clearly showing that fashion is their true love!
Jodie Sweetin
Jodie Sweetin, another ‘Full House’ star, was relying on the show as her main source of income. After ‘Full House’ ended, she didn’t have much luck in the entertainment industry, and she has since spoken about her struggles with drug abuse.
Sweetin became a public figure in the fight against addiction and recovery. She has been sober for years and even appeared on ‘Dancing With The Stars,’ showing her progress! Her engagement to Mescal Wasilewski was announced on January 17, 2022.
Andrea Barber
One of the funniest characters on ‘Full House’ playing Kimmy Gibbler, Andrea Barber also had trouble finding a good role in the film industry after ‘Full House’ was done. She hasn’t acted since starring in the Netflix spin-off series ‘Fuller House.’
Instead, she prefers to spend her time with her family and running marathons, which she has done for many years! Barber married Jeremy Rytky in 2002. In 2014, the couple divorced. They are the parents of two children.
Tia and Tamera Mowry
Tia and Tamera Mowry of ‘Sister, Sister’ is another set of twins who have kept things interesting. The two gave the Olsen twins a run for their money, and they’ve since appeared on a number of Disney shows as well as their own reality show, ‘Tia and Tamera.’
Tamera became more involved in lifestyle and writing, while Tia chose to stick to television (particularly cooking shows). Nothing is more important to the Mowrys than having a close-knit family.
Marla Sokoloff
If you grew up in the 1990s, you’re probably familiar with Marla Sokoloff’s face, as she was famously typecast as the “mean girl.” She portrayed that character in a number of TV shows and films, including ‘Full House’ and ‘The Babysitters Club.’
She, on the other hand, quickly vanished from the movie industry. Sokoloff preferred working in the lifestyle industry, and she now writes a blog in addition to spending time with her family.
Alicia Silverstone
Who can forget Cher from the movie ‘Clueless’? The film is one of the most well-known cult classics of the 1990s, even among those who did not grow up during that decade!
She’s appeared in a few films and TV shows since then, but nothing particularly noteworthy. To be fair, nothing will ever be able to surpass ‘Clueless’! ‘Peace out!’ said Alicia Silverstone, who gave us one of the most iconic characters of all time. ’
Tatyana Ali
And, of course, there was Ashley Banks, who played Ribeiro’s sister on the show. Although she rose to prominence as a result of her role in ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,’ she has since appeared in a number of films and television shows, including the comedy series ‘Key and Peele.’
She did a few bigger roles as well, such as ‘Jawbreaker,’ but nothing will ever compare to one of the most popular TV shows of the 1990s! On July 17, 2016, she married Rasberry in Beverly Hills, California. The couple has two sons together.
Mackenzie Rosman
Mackenzie Rosman is best known for her role as Ruthie Camden, a young actress who began her career when she was just a child. Imagine being on the big screen at the age of 6!
She also acted in “The Secret Life of an American Teenager” as she grew older, but then faded into the background. She hasn’t done much acting since then, but she did appear on Maxim, which surprised a lot of people!
Stacey Dash
On ‘Clueless,’ Cher was a big name, but how can we forget Stacey Dash, her best wing woman? Since then, the actress has appeared in a spin-off as Dionne as well as other shows such as ‘The Game.’
Her main career path has been acting, but she’s also dabbled in controversial politics. She was not only a Fox News correspondent, but she also backed Donald Trump in the recent election.
Danielle Fishel
‘Boy Meets World’ was a huge hit in the 1990s, and who can forget Danielle Fishel as Cory’s girlfriend, Topanga? She was stunning back then, and she is still stunning now, but she has left the entertainment industry following her last appearance on ‘Dorm Daze.’

Mayim Bialik’s face has been remembered since the show aired in the early 1990s, ‘Blossom.’ She decided to further her education after being the leading lady on ‘Blossom,’ and went to UCLA to pursue a Ph.D. in neuroscience.
Younger audiences may remember her as Dr. Amy from ‘The Big Bang Theory,’ and we all adored her character! Bialik was a guest host on Jeopardy! from May 31 to June 11, 2021. Bialik and Jennings will host the show for the rest of the 2021–22 season, it was announced on December 8, 2021.
Tiffany Thiessen
Do you recall Kelly, Zach Morris’s ‘Saved by the Bell’ girlfriend? Tiffani Thiessen is the woman in the photo, and she’s just as stunning now as she was in the 1990s!
She’s appeared on a few TV shows since then, but her most notable achievement was the launch of her own cooking show, which she hosted until 2017! We just know she’d make the best meals, and she confirmed in 2020 that she’d star in a reboot of ‘Saved by the Bell’!
Winona Ryder
‘Beetlejuice and Heathers,’ as well as a few other films released in the late 1980s and early 1990s, launched Winona as one of the most well-known actresses of the decade.
She decided to pursue acting in her adult years and had a brief relationship with Johnny Depp. You may recognize her from the Netflix series ‘Stranger Things,’ where she plays Joyce Byers.
Zachary Ty Bryan
All of the ’90s kids were glued to their televisions watching ‘Home Improvement,’ and most of the girls had a major crush on Zachary Ty Bryan. He later went on to become a producer, working behind rather than in front of the camera!
He was the director of several films, including ‘Heavy,’ ‘Skin,’ and many others. He and his wife have been married since 2007 (sorry, ladies), and they have three wonderful children.
Devon Sawa
Devon Sawa, Casper the Ghost’s adorable sidekick, was a teen heartthrob in the 1990s! He went on to make a name for himself in Hollywood by starring in films and television shows such as ‘Little Giants’ and ‘SLC Punk!’ ’.
He’s played more mature roles as an adult, such as in ‘NCIS: Los Angeles.’ We all enjoy seeing him on our screens, regardless of his role, and we’re glad he’s stayed in Hollywood!
Gaby Hoffmann
‘Now and Then,’ a coming-of-age show from the 1990s, shaped many of us into adults! She’s still gorgeous, and you may have seen her on the show ‘Transparent’ for nearly six years!
She was filmed as an onstage “stand-in” for Australian singer Sia Furler’s song “Unstoppable” during her Nostalgic For the Present concert tour in 2016, and she still looks as stunning as ever.
Kel Mitchell
It’s hard to believe that someone as well-known as Ed would just vanish into thin air after appearing in ‘Good Burger’ and providing the voice of the Pink Panther. He was even rumored to have died, but he is still alive and well, dabbling in acting.
He’s gone on television a few times, bringing back old characters such as the one he played in ‘All That,’ and you may have seen him during the Super Bowl.
Jonathan Taylor Thomas
If you know any teenage girls from the 1990s, you know how much Jonathan Taylor Thomas was loved by them. After starring in ‘Home Improvement,’ he became the ‘it’ boy of the 1990s, and pretty much every girl had a crush on him.
After the 2000s, however, he quickly faded from view. He prefers life outside of the film industry and has stated that he fondly remembers his time in the industry, but that it was not a defining moment in his life.
Jaleel White
Ask your parents about Jaleel White; if they’ve seen ‘Family Matters,’ they’ll be familiar with him. On the show, he played the hilarious Steve Urkel, for which he became well-known.
Since then, he’s appeared in a number of TV shows as well as major films such as ‘Dreamgirls.’ You may also recognize him from ‘Fake It Til You Make It’ and ‘Atlanta,’ showing that he has no trouble landing big roles.
Rider Strong
On ‘Boy Meets World,’ he was Cory’s best friend and co-star, but Rider Strong truly stole the hearts of all ’90s girls, not only with his adorable character but also with his lovable smile.
Since then, he’s appeared in a number of shows and films, including the spin-off ‘Girl Meets World.’ Outside of acting, Strong has an impressive academic background: he graduated from Columbia with a degree in English!
Tahj Mowry
You’ve heard of Tia and Tamera, but have you heard of their younger brother Mowry? On ‘Full House,’ he played Teddy, and everyone fell in love with his adorable character.
If you can recognize his voice, it’s because he actually appeared on ‘Kim Possible’ as well! He’s done some acting since then, such as getting to play Tucker on ‘Baby Daddy.’
Barry Watson
He began his career in the entertainment industry as one of the children on the show ‘7th Heaven.’ Since then, Barry Watson has appeared in hit shows such as ‘Gossip Girl’ and ‘Samantha Who,’ and he has continued to act despite being diagnosed with cancer and undergoing treatment.
Fortunately, the actor completed his treatment in 2002 and has since made a successful comeback. Watson married Natasha Gregson Wagner on December 21, 2014, and they have a daughter together.
Alfonso Ribeiro
Did you even grow up in the 1990s if you haven’t seen ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’? Alfonso Riberio became well-known for his role as Carlton Banks on the show, which became a cult classic.
He went on to achieve even more success, including winning ‘Dancing With The Stars’! Ribeiro isn’t quite on the same level as Will Smith, but he’s having a good time as a celebrity.
Will Smith
We can’t bring up ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ without having to mention Will Smith! After the show, his fame shot through the roof to fame and continued to amass ever-increasing success.
Now, the actor has made a name for himself in the industry with films such as ‘Men in Black.’ Since then, he has continued his film career and created a legacy with his wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith, and their two children, Jaden and Willow.
Erik von Detten
’90s girls were swooning in their seats because of this guy’s charming smolder! Because of his roles in films such as ‘The Princess Diaries’ and ‘Escape to Witch Mountain,’ he was a big hit on Disney Channel.
Since then, he’s been much more in the background, which is almost unheard of. Although he does occasionally appear on the red carpet, the actor has become much more reserved as an adult.
Andrew Keegan
Andrew Keegan was well-known for his “bad boy” roles in films such as “7th Heaven” and “10 Things I Hate About You.” He’s appeared in a few series since then, but his career path is by far the most unusual on this list.
He and his wife co-founded their own religion! It’s known as Full Circle, and it’s described as an experimental environment aimed at elevating people. According to a spokesperson for the temple, they were unaware that they needed a license to sell kombucha. In June 2017, the organization came to an end.
James Van Der Beek
Because of his role on ‘Dawson’s Creek,’ this actor has a particularly memorable face. He had a particularly well-known scene that became an internet meme (unfortunately, it was a video of him crying!).
Following that, he appeared on a few shows, such as ‘One Tree Hill.’ As he’s gotten older, Van Der Beek has mostly stuck to acting, which is clearly his passion.
Ben Savage
We can’t talk about ‘Boy Meets World’ without mentioning its star, Ben Savage, who played Cory Matthews on the show in the 1990s. His adorable character on the show was a hit with the audience, and he went on to star in spin-off shows.
He didn’t do much in the industry after ‘Boy Meets World,’ though he did appear in a few small TV shows. In 2022, Savage was cast as Nathaniel Kibby in the Lifetime film Girl in the Shed: The Kidnapping of Abby Hernandez as part of the network’s “Ripped from the Headlines” feature film.
Kirk Cameron
Kirk Cameron, who played a young heartthrob in the show ‘Growing Pains,’ was loved by teen girls. The actor was nominated for two Golden Globes for his performance, but has since turned his attention to his religion (Evangelism).
He evangelizes Christians by training and educating them! He’s also recently appeared in a faith-based Christmas film that was actually rated as one of the worst films ever. He made an appearance in an episode of Fuller House, the Netflix follow-up to Full House, in 2019.
Mario Lopez
Who doesn’t want to be charmed by Mario Lopez’s smile? Kids in the 1990s adored him as A.C. Slater on ‘Saved By The Bell,’ and he went on to star in films and television shows like ‘Pacific Blue’ and ‘Nip/Tuck.’
He’s now more deeply involved in hosting shows such as ‘The X Factor.’ He’s an amazing judge, and fans loved seeing him on the red carpet conducting interviews to other celebrities.
Mark-Paul Gosselaar
‘Saved by the Bell’s’ leading man was certainly kept busy during his five years on the show, and we have to credit some of the show’s success to his seemingly perfect hair!
He went through a period where he didn’t act, and then he went on to star in shows like ‘NYPD Blue.’ It’s encouraging to see that he hasn’t given up acting entirely, and the full beard looks great on him.
Bug Hall
Bug Hall’s iconic hairdo in ‘The Little Rascals’ is impossible to forget, and the strangest part is that he hasn’t changed his appearance since then! He’s appeared in a few TV shows, including ‘CSI,’ and he married his young love!
The actor has a face that will stick with you for a long time, but at least he’s changed up his hairstyle. Hall was arrested on suspicion of possessing and inhaling/ingesting volatile chemicals on June 20, 2020, in Weatherford, Texas. On June 21, he was bonded out of the Parker County Jail after posting a US$1,500 bond.
Freddie Prinze Jr.
People, he’s not just well-known for being Sarah Michelle Gellar’s husband! The actor was also in the film ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer,’ which launched his acting career.
He has appeared in a number of television shows, but he prefers to spend time with his children. Freddie is a self-described stay-at-home dad, and we’re confident he’s just as good a father as he is an actor!
Dustin Diamond
We know we’ve mentioned a lot of characters from ‘Saved by the Bell,’ but this is the final one! Screech was played by Dustin Diamond, who unfortunately gained a bad reputation after the show because of a book he wrote about his experience.
It would seem that most of it were completely made up! He even ended up in jail for stabbing someone and went on to say that his book was ghostwritten.
Dwayne Johnson
You’ve probably heard of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson unless you’ve been living under a rock. He transitioned from WWE to film and has appeared in several well-known films such as the ‘Fast & Furious’ and ‘Jumanji’ series.
Johnson has three daughters, two of whom are with his wife Lauren Hashian, and he continues to do great things in Hollywood. With over 280 million followers as of November 2021, his Instagram account is the fourth most followed in the world.
