We all adored Andy Moffett, played by Mackenzie Astin. Sadly, Astin only played Andy for three years. Perhaps, you know about Astin’s successful career in film and TV since then. Nancy McKeon
Of course, Nancy McKeon was iconic as tomboy Jo Polniaczek. Afterwards, she almost landed a role in the hit show Friends. Both McKeon and Courtney Cox auditioned for Monica, but the role went to Cox. McKeon said she never harbored any ill feelings towards Cox. After, she starred on Disney’s Sonny with a Chance as the mother of Demi Lovato’s character. Then, McKeon continued acting until retiring in 2011.
