The Family That Sings Together
The Singing McEntires used to be famous in their town as they performed in different bars, local rodeos, and dance halls. Knowing that they already have a lot of audiences, they released a song dedicated to their grandfather. It was titled The Ballad of John McEntire. They sang it in different events. Months after that, they recorded several songs – some of them were If I Could Only Be With You and God Never Cried.
A Lesson For A Lifetime
Reba McEntire learned a lot of lessons from her mother ever since the day she was introduced to the dynamics of the real world. One of those was the fact that not all people are the same – not everyone has the same beliefs. She learned it when the entire family was on the way to a location for a performance. While on the road, Reba had an idea to invite the whole audience to attend a mass the next morning – she shared it with her mother. However, her mother had something to say about it and said that she should not do that because not everyone that would be watching them had the same beliefs as them. That was a lesson that Reba brought with her every single day that she spent.
