London Fields (2018)
We know what you have in mind. How could a project starring the likes of Billy Bob Thornton, Theo James, Amber Heard, Cara Delevingne, and Jim Sturgess be on this list? Even though it boasts an A-list cast, the film adaptation of London Fields was quite the bewildering snooze fest. We will have to agree with the critic who said that it was “proof that not every successful novel should become a movie.”

Universal made quite the risky decision when they decided to create a film solely based on the board game, Battleship. They invested $220 million into this sci-fi action film but unfortunately not even Rihanna being the lead could save this film from failing. The movie was far from a success and Universal lost $83 million in the process.
