They produced more than 50 models, and every single one of them is in use today. It was regarded as the world’s heaviest quad jet for thirty years and is currently the second-heaviest cargo aircraft.
Antonov AN-225 Mriya
The AN-225 is a cargo airlift aircraft powered by six turbofan engines. It continues to be the longest and heaviest aircraft ever constructed. The AN-225 was initially created in the 1980s to transport the USSR’s Buran spacecraft. Additionally, this aircraft has the longest wingspan ever measured and has a maximum takeoff weight capacity of 640 tonnes.
