Brian Williams became the Chief White House reporter when he was hired by the National Weekend Nightly News in 1993, after serving ten years as an NBC news anchor. Brian was promoted to managing editor and host of his program, “The News with Brian Williams,” which aired on MSNBC and CNBC after a few years. Williams took over NBC Nightly News from Tom Brokaw in 2004. The network earned a Peabody Award and a George Polk Award shortly after joining NBC. The DuPont-Columbia University award went to NBC News for their coverage of Hurricane Katrina.
Robin Meade – $10 Million
Meade has earned a regional Emmy Award, and her New York Times bestseller “Morning Sunshine!: How to Radiate Confidence and Feel It Too” adds to her list of accomplishments. She has released two albums of country music. Meade won a regional Emmy award and penned the New York Times bestseller “Morning Sunshine,” which is about how to be and feel optimistic.
