ABC hired Linda Cohn as its first full-time female sports anchor for its national radio network back in 1987. Five years after that, she transferred to ESPN and has been a regular on Sportscenter ever since. It is pretty neat to know that she has hosted more than 5,000 episodes of it! This is more times than any other anchor in the history of the sports recap show. In 2008, she published a book called “Cohn-Head: A No-Holds-Barred Account of Breaking Into the Boys’ Club.”

After Lindsay Czarniak became known as one of the top talents on ESPN, she left the network to pursue a more lucrative contract with Fox Sports 1. It looks like her Sportscenter hosting experience helped her when she started to cover NASCAR for her new workplace. Apart from that, she has also covered other sports like football. In 2017, she made history as the first reporter to interview the players of the Washington Redskins after the tragic death of Sean Taylor.
