Barbara Parkins
Barbara Parkins is a Canadian-American star who made the decision to relocate to Los Angeles to pursue a career when she was only 16 years old. In those days, she started out working as a backup singer and dancer to huge stars in different nightclubs around town. In 1961, she made her on-screen debut by starring in the low-budget crime movie, 20,000 Eyes. When it comes to her big projects, she was also in Valley of the Dolls. Let us not forget about her small-screen work – she even received an Emmy Award nomination for one of her television projects!

Julie Ege was just 15 years of age when she began to do some modeling work. She also entered the Miss Norway pageant and placed second when she was only 18 years old. She later participated in Miss Universe before she relocated to England, where she became an au pair to learn speaking English. In the late ‘60s, the beauty queen was already doing small parts. Of course, none of this hold a candle to her role in the 1971 film, Up Pompeii. At some point, she was called a glamour actress. She merely shrugged off the label since she did not mind it as long as it paid her bills!
