He spent the entire car ride debating the best approach for breaking the news to the principal. He was concerned that some details might have been misreported. Hopefully everything was captured on tape, but he did not play back the recording to check. He was concerned first and foremost with Jamy’s security. Only that preoccupied his mind.

Thomas made it to the campus promptly. All the other parents were unaware of it because he didn’t tell them. This was something he had to handle on his own. He had broken the law, but he justified his actions by saying it was for the sake of his son’s safety. Jamy is his whole world, and he would risk everything to keep him safe. He then went to the door of the principal and rapped on it.
