Natalie Portman was first discovered when she was only 11-years-old at a local pizza place. A Revlon representative spotted her and encouraged her to begin modeling. Natalie was flattered, but she told the representative that she didn’t want to be known for her appearance and wanted to act instead. Eventually, she was cast in an off-Broadway show and then landed her first big role in “The Professional” in 1994.
