After the success of Titanic, Celine Dion went on a tour called “Let’s Talk About Love.” Everything seemed fine until she received some terrible news – Rene had been diagnosed with cancer. Celine found out while she was doing a show, and she performed a song for him. Rene battled cancer but he passed away on January 14, 2016 at the age of 73.

Her Children’s Names Were Chosen Carefully
Prior to all of this happening, the couple welcomed twin boys on October 23, 2010. The boys were named Nelson and Eddy. Nelson’s name came from Nelson Mandela while Eddy was named after Eddy Marnary, the Frenchman who produced Celine’s first five albums.
