William December Williams Jr., an American actor who was born in 1937, is most known for his portrayal as Lando Calrissian in the ‘Star Wars’ series. Williams began playing professionally when he was seven years old, and he hasn’t stopped since. Before making the transition to the big screen in 1959, he first began performing on Broadway for a few years. Williams was also interested in art at an early age. He even won a Hallgraten Prize in the 1950s, but he put painting on hold for many years before returning to art in the late 1980s, demonstrating that it’s never too late to follow your passion.
