Joanne Woodward – 1930 – The Three Faces of Eve

One of the final few living actors from the height of Hollywood is Joanne Woodward. She is talented, attractive by nature, glamorous, and poised like a star. Women in the industry were able to avoid the powerless stereotypes of 1950s Hollywood thanks to Woodward’s powerful and energetic personality. She majored in drama for two years at Louisiana State University before becoming an actress, producer, and philanthropist. She received her first break in the 1995 movie “Count Three and Pray” and appeared in Nunnally Johnson’s “The Three Faces of Eve.” She also starred in her husband Paul Newman’s directorial debut, and the two of them worked on several award-winning projects together.
