Kevin Plank, a former University of Maryland football captain, founded Under Armour in 1996. He was only 24 years old when he did so, and the net value of the company is now $10.7 billion. Almost all of the manufacturers are outsourced to avoid spending more on labor costs. The offerings of the company are made in fifteen countries, although 60% of it is made in China, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Jordan. The headquarters of the company remains in the same place where it was founded: Baltimore, Maryland.

We are sure that you are familiar with Gillette, which offers razors and shaving products. Owned by Procter & Gamble since 2005, it is a massive beauty company that started out in Boston, Massachusetts. It first entered the market in 1901 and has since used different slogans such as “The Best Men Can Be” and “The Best a Man Can Get.” It first made safety razors until it patented the system razor, which was more profitable. Before the American company was bought out, The Gillette Company owned it.
