KitchenAid

The Hobart Manufacturing Company opened KitchenAid in 1919. Whirlpool Corporation now owns it, however. The company started out by selling stand mixers known as the H5 Model. The competition was tough, but it stayed afloat the entire time. In the ‘30s, it introduced a design by Egmont Arens called the K Silhouette. It outlasted the competition and then worked on dishwashers as well. In fact, the company made its first dishwasher based on the design of Joseph Cochran. She introduced it during the Chicago Fair of 1893. Factories in the United States make all of the offerings!
