Winning the first season of American Idol, Kelly Clarkson earned her label deal with RCA Records. Her debut single, A Moment Like This topped the US Billboard Hot 100, and the people loved her ever since. At her age, the then 20-year old artist took over both pop and country charts and became the country’s best selling single of 2002. As time goes by, Kelly tried to reinvent her image and shifted to pop-rock music with her Album Breakaway. Though shifted to the pop genre, Kelly’s roots are still country. She sold over 25 million albums and 45 million singles worldwide. She had 28 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, with three number one songs and eleven in the Top 10.
