Morna Anne Murray, also known as Anne Murray, was a Canadian singer in pop, country, and adult contemporary music, and her albums sold more than 55 million copies across the world in the span of her 40-year career. She was now 74 years of age and was born on June 20, 1945, in Springhill, Nova Scotia. She had been active from 1967 to 2008. She was the first-ever Canadian female soloist to have ever reached the number one position in an American music chart. She marked history when she won Album of the Year in 1984. She was both the first woman and Canadian to achieve this honor. The last album that she released was a Christmas album titled Icon: Christmas.

She was deemed to be one of the most successful country music artists of all time and managed to sell more than 40 million albums across the globe. She was now 52 years old and was born on September 21, 1967, in Ridgeland, Mississippi. She had been a staple within the country music industry since her debut in 1993 with her Album Take Me as I Am. This sold more than 30 million copies. She had other interests aside from music, and she had a fragrance line that started in October 2009. It included her first scent Faith Hill Parfums and True. She was currently traveling with her husband Tim McGraw, in their joint tour that was titled Soul2Soul The World Tour.
