Constance June Meador, most known as Connie Smith, was an American country music artist. She was born on August 14, 1941, and was currently 78 years of age. She had become a legend because of her fantastic voice, and her career started in the 60s. Her vocal style was described to be significant and influential. She might have lesser crossover appeal compared to some of her peers in country music; however, her success within the genre could rival the best of them. Connie Smith had more than 20 singles in the top 10 of the Billboard country music charts. Also, she had 11 nominations for Grammys. Of all her albums, 31 had been charted, and three of these managed to take the number one spot. Her latest album had been released last 2011.

Loretta Lynn was an American country music singer and songwriter that had quite a few multiple gold albums during the span of her career. She was born on April 14, 1932, and had held the record for having the most awards among the female country artists. She was also the only woman that was given an award for the Academy of Country Music Artist of the Decade for the 70s. She had been awarded the Presidential Medal of Honor by President Obama last 2013. Her most recent album release was on last March 2016, and it featured a few other great singers such as Elvis Costello and Willie Nelson.
