The Note
When she proceeded to the table where the police officer sat, she immediately took the leather folder to collect the payment. The money that he left was sufficient to pay for his order. However, there was something written on the bill. Courtney couldn’t believe what she saw; the note was directed at her.

What could be the message on the bill that the police officer left for Courtney? Maybe he thought that her service was too slow since she was taking small steps every time she walked. One other reason could be that he wasn’t happy with her service and felt that he was being ignored, given that there were a lot of customers. Courtney remembered afterwards, “He must have overheard my conversation with other customers.”
