In Courtney’s mind, she thought that the police officer might have made a mistake in giving her a huge tip. Maybe he just meant to provide her with $10.00, or perhaps he didn’t see his bill clearly and thought it was more than $9.00. Both scenarios were unlikely to happen. The police officer indeed left her with a $100.00 tip.
