Carlo Gambino

You might not know this, but Carlo Gambino is the Italian mobster who inspired the famous movie, The Godfather. In fact, the movie was loosely based on his life. He pretty much ran New York’s mob scene for quite a few years. Despite the fact that he was connected to countless crimes, Carlo was never actually arrested. That isn’t to say that he wasn’t chased by the authorities, because he was.
