Sadly for Emma, she needed to undergo both radiation and chemotherapy treatments, which were extremely exhausting both emotionally and physically. Only after this process was she able to then go through with having a mastectomy. Emma also found out that she needed to endure yet another surgery as she has an “aggressive genetic cancer.”
