After some time, Rain finally stopped hiding beneath the van. Even so, Loreta and Eldad could see that she still felt scared. For one thing, her tail remained beneath her legs. As if this was not enough evidence, she also would not stop shaking and crying. They knew that she was still as scared as ever.

For the sake of their safety, Eldad added one more leash around Rain’s neck. He also tried to pet her, hoping that this would be enough to reassure her that it was fine. The dog gave into his strokes. His plan worked! This was how they were able to bring her inside the cage.
