Knives
Knives were mostly used as a tool for dining. We usually used knives for food preparation. Also, these could be used as cutlery. There were different kinds of knives, such as a bread knife, which was used for cutting bread. Another example would be the boning knife that was used to remove the bones of poultry, meat, and fish. If we just wanted to have extra knives in case of an emergency, then it would be fine to purchase them at the dollar store. However, it would not hurt so bad to invest in better and more expensive knives just to save ourselves from frustration.

Earbuds, Headphones
Earbuds and headphones were both useful devices as long as these were used at low volumes. These are a pair of tiny speakers to place inside the ears. Most dollar stores would offer these items for a lower price; however, the quality of these would not match the expensive kind. Instead, we suggest just buy the ones in retail, and even though it might cost more, these would probably last longer and had better sound quality in comparison to the ones that can be bought in the dollar store.
