Not until the actual date did rumors about their marriage circulate. “The young bride said in January 1994, “I care about being with my husband. I take my Marriage seriously.” However on February 23, 1994, Shannen and Ashley split up. Shannen filed for divorce on April 7, 1994, and the reason quoted was “irreconcilable differences.”
