What Not To Wear
Although the premise of the show is wonderful, in fact, it’s not as fun as it was. Each participant receives $5,000 to repair their closet and makeup. There are however a few catches: the producers remove all their clothes and offer them to charity. And any products they buy have to be taxed by participants. In addition, all the attire is fitted to fit the competitors and this is another cost not covered by the program.

Pimp My Ride
Pimp My Ride from MTV was one of the most popular events during the broadcast. Rapper Xzibit would appear at the front doors of the people to take the old cars to make them whole. Well, it turned out that the machining of the car was only for the cameras and completely cosmetic. Someone at the show said their car was hardly running when they brought it back. Also, these cars sometimes needed up to six months to take care of.
