Jimmy John’s
Some other fast-food chain with a good headline is Jimmy John’s, also recognized as JJ’s, and theirs is “Freaky Fast, Freaky Fresh”. In 2016, the gourmet sandwich store made all staff sign a non-compete clause, preventing employees from working at any kind of deli until 2 years after finishing at JJ’s. The chain was taken to court by a few states, and JJ’s was in turn told to remove the clause completely. That’s not all, however. JJ’s is in charge of a number of outbreaks of food poisoning. Guests got really sick in 2008, 2009 and 2010 with salmonella or E.Coli after having eaten JJ’s sprouts. In 2013, after eating JJ’s food, 100 customers in Kansas also got sick. The chain was bashed again in 2018 because there was yet again another event of food poisoning.

Sbarro
The New York Times’ Neil Irwin said once, “You eat Sbarro not because you want Sbarro, but because it is the food that is available at the moment you want some food.” Most guests agree with him as only 34 percent come right back for more. The pizza place seems to see a drop in repeat buyers due mainly to the disgusting food. It’s yet another joint which is often situated in malls, and reduced business comes with a dying location. On top of all that, people really enjoy Blaze Pizza’s custom-made pizza instead. Sbarro is just no longer at its A-game.
