A New Chapter
She had no choice but to completely start over if she still wanted her dreams to come true. This is why she decided to move to another city even though she had many friends and career opportunities at home. In 2015, she went on a soul-searching journey before she decided to make it happen. She relocated to begin a new chapter of her life. Luckily, she got a job offer that coincided with what she wanted to do. She then moved to Denver, Colorado and went into the field of commercial construction. Officially, she was the integrated service manager for the construction company GE Johnson.

Katie was hopeful that she did the right thing. It was now time for her to get back on track and achieve her goals! She bought a 4-bedroom house that was considered to be a ‘fixer-upper’. What is even more amazing is that she wanted to renovate it on her own. “The house I bought would require extensive work to transform into my vision and most of which I would have to do myself in order to afford it,” she explained. She told her friend that it was going to be meant for ‘more’, but what did that mean for her?
