The First Member Of The WWE Hall Of Fame
Andre the Giant died in 1993 and was honored by WWE by putting up the WWE Hall of Fame. During that time, Andre was the only person that was selected to be honored. Thus, no special ceremony was held. The following year, WWE had their first inauguration ceremony, and there, Andre the Giant’s inauguration was mentioned. The ceremony for him was never meant to be aired on television, but later in 2015, a compressed cover of it was produced for the network where several of Andre’s signature moves were seen.

His Signature Black Singlet
Andre the Giant secretly hid extra support under his signature black singlet. This caused a limit to his movement inside the ring. Due to his acromegaly that little by little destroyed him physically and also due to his years of wrestling, he underwent spinal surgery. It’s quite ironic that most of Andre’s famous fights happened later in his career. But this was the time when his movements were limited, and the moves he used were basic instead of the flashing moves he used to do in his younger days.
