Andre Died In Paris
In 1993, Andre received a call coming from Paris about his father’s funeral. At that time, his health was also not good. After his father’s funeral, Andre immediately went back to his hotel and went to sleep. He never woke up. Passing away at 46 years old, Andre’s death was caused by congestive heart failure. At first, Andre’s family planned to bury him nearly at his father’s grave in Paris. But the wrestler’s final statement was to cremate him. His family returned his ashes to the United States and buried it in a garden at his old house in Ellerbe, North Carolina. Robin, a daughter of his, was the beneficiary.
