When it is wintertime, you should wear a hat on top of your head to keep it warm and comfortable. But what is up with those pom-poms added to this garment? It turns out that this fashion feature has its origins in Scandinavia. It was added when they had to gather the seams during the knitting process. This might no longer be necessary, but we think it still makes for an adorable feature.

There is no need to panic when you notice that airplane windows have tiny holes. Maybe you also felt scared when you were first seated by the window! The breather hole lets the airplane’s outer panes handle the pressure difference as the airplane climbs greater heights. This lets the cabin remain both safe and comfortable. If the outer pane is ever compromised, there will be an air leak through it!
