A Successful Rescue
They let the fox make the decisions for itself. They put the bin on the ground, not far from the dog house. After this, they stepped back and waited what it would do next. They kept an eye on the fox and found it exploring the surroundings.

The fox stayed inside the bin for a little while. However, it gradually climbed out of the bin, shook off some of the sawdust on its fur, and walked around. It sat by the entrance and looked every bit like the wild animal it actually was.
