The only reason for this is that she has decided to take a brief break from her hectic schedule. She wished to take a short family vacation with her friends and family. According to her public persona, she prefers to keep her life as private as possible, which would describe why she was at the airport without an entourage. It’s possible that if she did, Ed would notice her.
