All of the men in the Robertson family have long but distinct beards. It is part of their outdoor southern lifestyle and has become their trademark. Their facial hair is a vital part of their duck-hunting brand and has become so popular that they didn’t think of shaving it off. Therefore, when Jase said he would shave it all off, a lot of fans were shocked.

The show features many members of the tight-knight clan, including Phil Robertson and his wife, Miss Kay, who got married at the young age of 15. The couple has four sons, Willie, Jep, Jase, and Alan, and each of them has his own family. However, all of them are involved in the family business of duck hunting in some way. A lot of the grandchildren are big parts of the TV show, as well, and Willie’s daughter even went on Dancing With the Stars before! The family may be close, but we can only imagine what they thought about Jase’s plan to shave off his beard.
