To meet their goals and succeed, they needed to raise a lot of funds for this charity. For this reason, Jase decided to shave his beard off. His fundraising pledge was surely going to benefit their foundation, and Missy, as well. After all, it has been seven years since she last saw her husband clean-shaven! Jase promised that if the donations they receive reach a hundred thousand dollars, he would shave off the beard, though he was still unsure whether they could reach their goal.

The majority of men in the Robertson family had facial hair, but one of the brothers actually did not follow this tradition. Al, the eldest, was clean-shaven throughout the show’s run. In the past, Jase also trimmed his beard a few times between filming to grow it out in time for the cameras. However, he was last beardless seven years ago.
