Kansas – 32.4% Obesity Rate
We could find food like “bierocks,” “lefse, “zwieback,” and “loose meat sandwich” in the state. If we did not know about this food, we could only say that they were not healthy food. Kansas Health Foundation claimed that there was an increase in people who were obese in the years 2014 and 2015. The state did something to decrease the rate, but it was not enough.
Missouri – 32.5% Obesity Rate
If we wanted to a toasted ravioli, we should go to this state. Missouri’s cuisine was a combination of American and Italian food. These foods might be tasty, but it was also not healthy. It also the reason why there was a high obesity rate in the state. 32.5% was the total obese residents here in Missouri. 2/3 of the adults were experiencing obesity.
