Problems At Home
During her time in the spotlight, there were rumors that Nadya mistreated her children. It made sense because being a single mother of 14 children must be difficult, and it must take a lot of effort to meet all of the children’s needs. Child Protective Services was even called in to investigate the situation. They looked into whether Nadya was truly neglecting her children. Even so, when they visited her home, they found no evidence of negligence and concluded that the rumors were unfounded – they even stated that her home was suitable for children.

Unfortunately, despite what Child Protective Services said, another person with actual power over Nadya’s life strongly disagreed that her home was suitable for her children. Her landlord didn’t like the idea and informed Nadya that she had broken her lease agreement. Furthermore, he informed the press about Nadya’s situation before evicting her and her 14 children. Nadya simply wanted to be a good mother to her children, but they were on the verge of becoming homeless, so she took drastic measures.
