The entire team worked hard to put several concrete layers and secure the rebar in the hatch. They had to ensure that the structure would not collapse when they used it. They added new concrete batches to give it more stability. We are sure that John could not help but wonder what this hatch led to.

However, there were a few things that made the project difficult for them: the heat! Even worse, none of them knew if this direct and intense heat would affect anything below the ground. They set up a tent over the site to ensure the safety of both the team and the hole. Aside from that, they put up a Sonotube cardboard structure around the hatch to prevent causing any damage.
