Once he got to the area in question, he saw expansive stone walls and a huge hole in the ground. The latter must have been the remains of a building basement. The sight of it excited him. Brad could tell that he was about to make his next great discovery. It was like the metal had been calling out to him. He had no idea that his gut was correct because it did not take him long before he came upon the first find of the day. It was a tombac button! That button type was very big back in the 1700s. Sadly, they went out of fashion because of how brittle it is. At any rate, it was a great start for him.
