Mike noticed strange scratches all over every single surface of the cavern walls. These markings struck him as familiar for some reason. Where had he seen them before? He approached the wall that had the most vivid scratches and ran his hand over them. This was how he realized that they actually formed ‘VV.’ It then hit him that the conjoined letters were repeated many times on the walls. But what did they mean?
