The structure did not look like it had ever been in use. There was wear and tear, which is not strange for a place that old. Even though it was empty, the team was able to figure out what it was. Even though it was made by Whitaker Pools, it was definitely not a swimming pool!

A Historical Find
It was actually a nuclear fallout shelter built during the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union. Back then, people felt paranoid and had bomb shelters built. Whitaker Pools started to offer such a service in those days. People preferred bomb shelters to swimming pools in those days.
