Harriet did not believe the reason for the flight attendant and thought that it was just the attendant who was having some issues. How could she offend someone on the plane with the top she was wearing when she hasn’t even stepped inside the pane.

Harriet gave up and just followed what the attendant told her, so she changed her top. Harriet was so pissed and embarrassed with how she was treated in public. Why are they so bothered by her clothes and who are they to tell her what to wear? As if her clothes would harm them.
