Rachael Ray, a well-known chef and TV host, might not be as upbeat as she seems. Numerous other celebrities have had negative things to say about the famous chef, including the late Anthony Bourdain and fellow foodies Martha Stewart and Emeril Lagasse. Rachael’s dog food line was exposed to have synthetic components, despite her earlier claims that it was all-natural, and dog lovers worldwide turned against her.

Katherine Heigl, a star of Grey’s Anatomy, was one of the earliest cases of a celebrity having their show canceled. Katherine significantly strained relationships in 2008 after being nominated for an Emmy and withdrawing her name for consideration because she didn’t like the Grey’s Anatomy season (she criticized her own film Knocked Up in a 2007 cover interview with Vanity Fair). She released a statement in which she stated, “I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination. And in an effort to maintain the integrity of the academy organization, I withdrew my name from contention.”
