Not in the past, but maybe now! It turns out that Mark started out on the streets and worked his way up. As a teen, he was found guilty of assault and sent to Deer Island prison for 50 days. Who would’ve thought? While he was in jail, he started working out to pass the time. By the end of his sentence, he had gone from being a skinny kid to a well-built man. And the women didn’t seem too upset about it. Mark says that going to jail made him want to change his life and stop doing bad things. He admitted it: “There were times when I knew I had to get back on track. Very humbling times. Hearing the jail door close behind you when you’re 17 years old is a very sobering moment. I knew I needed to change my life at a very specific moment, but when you decide to change your life and actually do it, it becomes a very hard, uphill battle that you have to fight every day.”
