Everything Went Downhill
Walter Miller enjoyed his role as a radio host and being a host made him feel calm. He had not felt relaxed for years. Unluckily for him, things started to go downhill quickly. There was one inmate who cursed at the captain of the prison. The prison’s captain thought that it was Walter who yelled profane words at him. Things did not end there.

The captain had it out for Walter since then and started “picking on” him. According to Walter, the captain would write him up for infractions regularly. These infractions were often unfair in Walter’s recollection. And ever since then, the prison’s captain had his eye out on Walter Miller.
