After that, he would get inside the bus that would travel to Raleigh where they would pick up trash.

Walter Miller recalled how bad the experience was for him. He said, “It was awful. People would be throwing hamburgers and milkshakes at you. And it was almost winter, so it was starting to get cold. That’s when I started planning and plotting.” Despite all the bad conditions, Walter decided to make an opportunity out of this.
